Nepro HP is a 1.8kcal/ml, energy dense, oral nutritional supplement and tube feed, for use as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement for patients with;
- Chronic or acute kidney disease who are on haemodialysis or continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD)
- Cirrhosis
- Those with other conditions requiring a high-energy, low electrolyte, low volume enteral feed
Nepro HP has CARBSTEADY® carbohydrate blend designed to help manage blood glucose response. This is due to the presence of fibersol, a slowly digested, low glycemic carbohydrate. It is also enriched with a prebiotic FOS. Prebiotics may help support the management of uremia.
Nepro HP RPB is available in a 220ml resealable plastic bottle which comes in strawberry and vanilla flavours, and attaches directly to Abbott Nutrition giving sets.
